LATIN

Latin Dancing is a form of ballroom that originated in Latin America. Latin incorporates five key dances including Cha Cha, Rhumba, Samba, Jive and Paso Doble. Our Beginners Latin class focuses on teaching the basics of Cha Cha, Rhumba, Samba and introductory Jive.

Once confident in these dances, students are encouraged to move to Intermediate Latin to perfect their steps and begin learning Paso Doble and more technical Jive sequences. More advanced Paso Doble and advanced Jive (the quickest of all dances), are then taught through Medal Classes.

Beginners Latin (1 hour) and Beginners Latin and Ballroom (2 hours) are taught on Monday evenings during term. The cost is $20 per class or $95 per term for a 1 hour class, or just $28 per class or $135 per term if you choose to learn both Latin and Ballroom in the two hour class. Each terms runs for 6 weeks.
