Medal classes are taught as private lessons for dancers looking to improve and polish their skills to dance competitively and achieve medal grades through Dance Masters International.

Working together with a highly experienced, professional dance teacher, medal students learn to improve posture, movement, shape and softness (or sharpness in tango). Customised dances are choreographed, rehearsed and mastered during solo lessons or shared private lessons for dance couples. This format enables students to learn as much as possible throughout the lessons as they will have their teacher’s undivided attention.

Once medal students are ready for assessment, they can expect the full support of their dance teacher and the Jus’ Dance team. Often, examiners are invited to assess students during Cabaret nights at the studio, providing a familiar and comfortable setting for our dancers and a supportive audience to cheer them on!
